OUR PROCESS:
The above image illustrates the traditional Bilona method of making ghee, a process that involves several steps to produce high-quality ghee. Here's an elaboration of the process:
Step 1: Milking in a traditional way
The process begins with milking cows in a traditional manner.
Step 2: Churning with Bilona to obtain Makhan
The milk is then churned using a Bilona, a traditional Indian churning device, to separate the cream from the milk. The churning process yields Makhan, also known as butter.
Step 3: Heating Makhan to get the purest form of Ghee
The Makhan is then heated in a pot to produce ghee. The heat causes the butter to melt and the purest form ghee is obtained.
Step 4: Bottling the Ghee
Finally, the ghee is bottled in a glass jar and made ready for consumption.
The Bilona method is considered a traditional and authentic way of making ghee, as it involves manual churning and heating of the Makhan. This process helps to preserve the nutritional value and flavor of the ghee.
